Event Details

All Yoga practices eventually point to the awakening of the heart.  Kirtan, a Bhakti Yoga Practice, can take you directly there.  It is considered one of the fastest ways to tap into pure joy and love and to experience divine bliss.  In a Kirtan, a group of people come together to sing, dance and make music.  One person leads the group in chanting back and forth, and it becomes an intimate exchange between the leader and the group where you can listen, then sing, listen, then sing.  The repetition of the chant creates the most sublime meditation and inner sweetness.  And the best part is that anyone can do it.  No experience is required! Join us for a night of bliss!

Mirabai has been a featured artist at transformational festivals across the country. She tours internationally, guiding participants into experiences of profound healing and unconditional love through Bhakti Yoga practices. “Mirabai Moon is a Kirtan soul angel who uplifts the Spirit. Her voice is exquisitely tuned and her warmth fills your heart. Don’t miss her! ” Gary Goldberg of WRPI, In The Spirit Radio
Jitendra Prabhu from Hawaii is a long-time devoted Bhakta, master musician, and luthier, Jitendra lived in India for 16 years studying classical Indian music. He now lives in Hawaii where he designs and builds his own instruments, including a hybrid sitar. His devotional offering is traditional classical Indian kirtan done with a western touch. When you hear Jitendra chant and play his sitara, you are transported to the banks of the Ganges River. His chanting is an invocation of the Divine spirit, and he invokes that same calling of the spirit within his audience. Jitendra has toured extensively with many musicians, including Baba Bhagavan Das, in respected venues such as Bhakti Fest and Bhakti Yoga Shala in LA.
