Daya began exploring Eastern Healing Practices And Yoga traditions 8 years ago, when she first traveled to Mystical India. She took her first yoga class in Rishikesh, next to The Beatles pilgrimage Ashram. Soon after that, the interest to learn about body, mind, emotions and the cultivation of the heart, led her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory of the 5 Elements and Japanese Healing Techniques. She completed the 200 Life of a Yogi TT and 500 Life of a Yogi TT with Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City.
Yoga is a state of mind, a way of life and a powerful transformational tool through which we can cultivate kindness, compassion and love towards all living beings. Our emotions affect our body and mind, and our mind affects the spirit. Using movement, yoga postures and other practices can help release and balance blocked and stagnated energy and create a positive upward momentum.
