Douglas Orton has been exploring and photographing the Ladakhi region in the Indian Himalaya for six years. He has explored most areas of this expansive part of India and is now leading ten-day tours to this once-hidden Himalayan kingdom known as “Little Tibet”. Douglas has trekked over many of the trails here as well as volunteered doing construction at Tibetan monastery and local homes. Well acquainted with the cultural, historical, and geographic features he takes you to the lightly traveled insider places of Ladakh. He is organizing and leading small groups on ten-day cultural, historical, photographic, and meditation tours of Ladakh in August of 2022.
