Event Details

The science of meditation is based on truths about the body-mind and how it works. This class will present effective techniques (technology) that use this science to still the mind, calm the breath and make possible the experience of deep inner stillness. This stillness is the fertile ground from which arise calmness, health, and transcendent joy. Beginners are welcome and also those experienced meditators who want to reinvigorate their practice.

Ganesha loves connecting with people and teaching them to meditate. He began his meditation practice 49 years ago and has been teaching meditation for 42 years. Ganesha is retired from a 25-year career as an engineer in California and in Italy. He is naturally attuned to the practical aspects of the art and science of meditation. He moved to Nevada County in 1973 and is a founding member of Ananda Village. Ganesha is a certified yoga teacher and is registered in California as a professional engineer.
