As the autumn equinox draws near, we invite you to join us on a healing journey incorporating gentle yoga and sound immersion. Come welcome the balance of day and night, a time to reconnect with source and the natural rhythm of life. Pachamama has danced her way right to the start of our autumn season and though the night will draw longer, it’s time to embrace the harvest together.
The immersive journey will be conjured using a variety of acoustic and electric instruments including crystal singing bowls, native drum and flute, electric guitar, live looping, and more. The sound space will be at the service of the listeners’ intention – please do consider how you wish to use this time and space. Sound may be perceived as both relaxing and transformative as we travel along.
The physical practice will weave breath work (pranayama) into a gentle flow of asana to open the body. Then moving into longer held yin style poses to get into the fascia and connective tissues and encourage free flow of prana along the meridians that support our health and vitality of the organs, in particular this practice will focus on the lungs. The second half of the journey will incorporate long fully propped juicy restorative shapes to prepare for a full-on expansive sound journey in Shavasana.

Brian: I have felt passion for sound and music my whole life and in the last few years I have discovered the truly transformative healing that can be found in exploring deep sound space. Through challenging times, I’ve observed how sound can perpetually transform suffering and traumatic memory as we arrive here and now in presence and at peace. It is my sincere hope that together we can unite in creating a healing space that will allow all in attendance to release that which is no longer serves as we meet our inner self and find our true nature. The soundscapes I create are equally informed by my apprenticeship with a veteran sound healer as well as a diverse array of contemporary and classical musicians…expect the unexpected. Annie is a lover of breath + movement, AND a huge advocate for rest + restore. Her practice is inspired by the seasons, community, the natural surrounding world and her ever curious desire to keep exploring the waves of expansion and contraction into the known and unknown. She has studied in depth with The Wild Temple School of Tantra + Herbs from which her practice draws from the many techniques of ancient and modern wisdom. Even more recently she has been diving in to the teachings of Yin + Buddhist mindfulness with Kali Durga. Honored to be your Asana guide while Brian weaves a tapestry of sound to support the highest modality of healing to bring the mind and body systems to a state of harmonization.
