Thank you to all who participated in our inaugural Nevada City Yoga Fest, held at Inner Path in Nevada City, CA on September 14-17, 2017. This event was a fundraiser to benefit Inner Path, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and an opportunity to connect with the thriving conscious community of Nevada County. We look forward to doing it again next year!

An Introduction to Inner Path

Inner Path began in 1982 in Ojai, California as a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the teachings of yoga and meditation. In 1996, our director, John Ernst, moved to Ananda Village near Nevada City. Over the years, John has received many inspirations that have guided his vision for Inner Path.

One of those visions was opening the Nevada City Center as a way to better serve the larger community. During the last two and half years, we have put tremendous energy into making Inner Path Nevada City an inspiring place for spiritual discovery. We offer resources from many different teachers because we believe that each person connects to Truth in their own unique way. Our openness is what sets us apart, allowing those who come to feel accepted and embraced, regardless of their background or beliefs. We offer our space for various classes and events to allow inspired teachers and students to share and connect in a way that is uniquely theirs.

More About Yoga Fest 2017

For four days this summer, September 14-17, Inner Path hosted a variety of classes, workshops, a wellness fair, music and special events. This was both a fundraiser for Inner Path to ensure our financial stability, and also a wonderful opportunity for local yoga teachers and wellness practitioners to share their talents. Here are some of the ways people participated:

— Offered a class/event/workshop with proceeds benefiting Inner Path

— Donated a gift certificate for a product or service for our silent auction

— Became an event sponsor

— Offered mini-sessions at our Wellness Fair with proceeds benefiting Inner Path

— Rented table space at our Wellness Fair offering your products and services

— Volunteered! We had a great group of helpers at the event and with preliminary planning, logistics and promotion.

We envision Nevada City Yoga Fest becoming a widely known annual event that will draw hundreds of participants from near and far.
