Event Details

This class invites a gentle and mindful exploration of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), tratika (concentration practices) and savasana (relaxation pose). This class provides a supportive space to show up for yourself, so you can feel into your body and practice presence.

Through commitment students can build strength, flexibility, and learn how to calm the nervous system. The pace is slow. Class is mixed level, welcoming beginners and all levels.

This is a space where you can practice yoga without feeling the need to push or perform to be “perfect.” Instead, you are encouraged to breathe, listen to and honor your body, and gently challenge yourself at your own pace.

Come start your Friday mornings feeling centered, and have more ease and energy throughout the day.

I’ve been fascinated by yoga since I was a little girl. I remember when my mom gave me a book called 101 Yoga Poses. I would spend time looking through the pictures and trying the poses on my own. As a young adult, I started teaching yoga to my friends just for fun. Over time, I realized how much I loved sharing the practice with others which inspired me to do yoga teacher training. In 2017, I took the Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training at the Dhyana Center in Sebastopol, CA. It was a truly memorable experience that I will carry in my heart forever, thanks to my two amazing teachers, Tirza Dawn and Dr. Swami Kriyananda Kanda, who supported me throughout the training. Yoga has helped me become present with my body and cultivate peace when life gets chaotic. This is something I feel grateful to share! <3 In my classes, I focus on helping students slow down, connect with their breath, and become present in their mind, body, and emotions.
